You got to get alone when nobody's around. You gotta sit on the bench, take a walk down the street, man get somewhere where nobody's listening but your own heart and conscience and start talking this way (with Him) and start believing. Don't be like "My life such a mess God if you don't do something with my life soon I'm ain't gonna make it. God my life is such a mess." That might be okay for a person that doesn't know God and they're crying out in despair and He intervenes, but that language should shift soon after...
