Who is Curry Blake (John G. Lake Ministries)
Curry R. Blake was born in 1959 in Jasper, TX. At 17 months of age Curry was hit by an automobile in the driveway of his grandparent’s home. Doctors said that there is no way he could survive such extensive brain damage, but his mother prayed for him and dedicated him to God. Today, Curry is totally and perfectly healed. He has at least an average IQ and a full head of hair and perfect hearing in both ears.
Curry Blake has studied healing and God's power for over 30 years. One of the reasons was that his first daughter Erika was born with an hemangioma tumor in her tongue and she died when she was 3. It wasn't just about "power" or "healing", Curry was looking for answers that worked. The search led him to men of faith such as Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake, Charles Finney, George Müller and others.
Curry and his family now live near Dallas, Texas, from which they spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, a gospel of help, healing, and freedom for all the oppressed.
(more about Curry Blake)
"We are ordinary people who have an extraordinary God. The essence of Christianity is in the being, not in the doing."
"People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
"If you haven’t found a gospel worth dying for, you haven’t found a gospel worth living for."
"Fasting doesn’t get you power. Fasting gets you out of the way so power can flow easier."
